DIARIES FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

My name is Carly and I am a 32 year old mother of one small boy.

When I think about it, it has been 1,339 days since I noticed a real shift in my relationship & for the physical violence to start. It’s hard to know how long the emotion & mental has existed.  I think the ‘controlling behavior’ has been there the whole time I just either accepted it as something I could live with or ignored it as it was mild.
